Bonnie K. Adams
LLP (Licensed Legal Paraprofessional)

Bonnie Adams is a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP) based in Colorado. She is dedicated to guiding individuals and families through complex and often emotional legal matters with empathy and practical insight.
Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Bonnie brings a strong sense of community and resilience to her work. She is the proud mother of three adult children and maintains deep ties to the military community through their service. Throughout her children’s educational years, she was an active volunteer, serving on multiple parent committees and spending 12 years on the executive board of a high school fundraising 501(c (3) organization. In that role, she helped support a wide range of programs—from athletics to student-led initiatives—while advocating for underfunded and historically marginalized groups, including minority and LGBTQIA student organizations.
Before entering the legal field, Bonnie spent more than a decade as a licensed personal lines insurance producer with Allstate Insurance. She later transitioned into the legal profession as an office manager for a boutique law firm, where her passion for helping others navigate difficult life circumstances led her to pursue a career as a paralegal. This path ultimately culminated in her becoming a member of Colorado’s inaugural class of Licensed Legal Paraprofessionals in June 2024.
Since then, Bonnie has developed hands-on experience in settlement negotiations and mediation, and—following the expansion of the LLP scope of practice—has actively participated in court hearings beginning in 2026. Her work is grounded in both professional experience and personal understanding. Having grown up in a challenging environment affected by addiction and later navigating her own divorce and co-parenting journey, she is deeply committed to helping clients break cycles of conflict and build healthier futures.
Bonnie is particularly passionate about helping families find sustainable co-parenting solutions whenever possible, while also ensuring that individuals facing abuse are protected during their most vulnerable moments.
Outside of her professional life, she enjoys exploring Colorado’s open spaces with her energetic Australian Cattle Dog—who enthusiastically “manages” the household cats. Since relocating to Colorado in 2021, she has embraced the outdoors and the opportunity to build a career centered on service, advocacy, and meaningful impact.
